Ex Corde Fellowship

The Ex Corde Fellowship is a joint program of the Center for Law and the Human Person and the Project on Constitutional Originalism and the Catholic Intellectual Tradition for current students at The Catholic University of America. The purpose of the Ex Corde Fellowship is to provide students interested in the Catholic intellectual tradition with dedicated programming, such as reading groups (Tolle et Lege), retreats, conferences, social events, and other outings. Ex Corde Fellows will also have special opportunities to interact with speakers and other guests.

The Ex Corde Fellowship is open to students throughout the law school and broader University community and requires no application. The designation as an Ex Corde Fellow is awarded upon graduation to those students who participate significantly in the fellowship and formation activities offered during their time as law students.

Tolle Et Lege

Tolle et Lege is the reading group of the Center for Law and the Human Person. It invites students to “pick up and read” classics of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Readings are provided for free to interested students. We will gather regularly for discussion and fellowship. Food and refreshments will be provided. Readings are available here.
