    Executive Director, Office of Government Relations at U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops

    Michelle Gress is the Executive Director of the Office of Government Relations for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, where she manages the federal advocacy for the Catholic Bishops of the United States. She formerly served as Counsel for the House of Representatives’ Government Reform Committee; Director of Programs for the Westchester Institute for Ethics and Public Policy; Law Clerk with the President’s Council on Bioethics; and Vice President and Partner of Tarne, Powers and Associates, a public relations and communications consultancy specializing in public policy clients. Ms. Gress spent a decade living abroad with her family in Europe and Asia, and worked for the three U.S. Diplomatic Missions in Vienna, Austria. She and her husband have four children and live in Virginia.

About the Event

The Faith in Action lecture series, an initiative of Catholic Law’s Center for Law and the Human Person, seeks to provide students with living examples of lawyers who witness to their faith through their vocation to law.
